This
course addresses the more important question: What is the right
thing to do. Today, there are plenty of management and problem
solving tools for all the problems we face everyday. In the
midst of limited human and financial resources, knowing what is
most important and getting it done is a skill that is becoming
necessary in management.
Kaizen for management staff explores new concepts that affect
how we view important questions. Such skills provide insights to
management on how to utilize the human capital to its fullest.
This course is about creating magic in organizations: learning
to make decisions and taking actions that deal with the
impossibilities. It is magical because it deals with the
impossibility. Many organization wizards such as Deming, Eli
Goldratt, Taiichi Ohno and Jack Welch have created the magic in
their organizations, turning around situations that seemed
impossible in today’s hyper competitive business warfare.
This course is designed with the works of many leading thinkers
in the field of management, linguistic, science and psychology.
The designer of the course, Jay Chiew, is a practicing
consultant and business trainer in several management practice
including Total Productive Management, Theory of Constraints,
and Six Sigma. This course is designed to be filled with case
studies, experiential learning and exposure to other world-class
management styles. |
