The Alliance Capacity Requirements Planning function tells you if the work in your production schedule, generated by the MRP calculation, can actually be accomplished, and if not, where to make adjustments. The program takes the MRP schedule and compares it against the current capacity of each work centre. It takes into account each work centre's capacity, time and labour requirements of the work orders and shows you the load on each work centre. Graphical reports show each work centre's activities, allowing you to more efficiently use your plant resources. If you over-use a work centre the problems are obvious: backup and delays, unanticipated and costly overtime, and loss of quality due to production pressures.
