Initiated by Dr Rokiah @ Rozita Ahmad & coordinated by Cik Syazwani Saadon, the class was fully filled up quickly even a week before the deadline.  7 lecturers & 16 post graduate students from PPSM (Pusat Pengajian Sains dan Matematik) had signed up the workshop. They had apparently enjoyed this 1-day Mathematica Version 6 workshop and many said they were looking forward to participating in more Mathematica classes to come.

Also a special acknowledgement goes to the Chairman of PPSM, Prof. Dr. Mohd Salmi Md Noorani for making this event a success by providing lab facilities as well as other necessary resources on that day.

The workshop was presented with alternating sessions of lectures and exercises, conducted in a step-by-step manner yet with a very lively approach. It had provided a broad overview as well as direct experience of the major new & basic features in Mathematica, including information on graphics and visualization, dynamic interactivity, core language, symbolic interface construction, importing and exporting, and using example-driven materials, which had proven to be a comprehensive as well as a very useful foundation for those new users. The Mathematica enthusiasm is now on spark for PPSM!
